What is the Orange Card?
The Orange Card is The HandCrafted Market’s digital loyalty card.
Customers can use it to collect Orange Stamps when they visit our markets, save their favourite crafters, and view rewards from participating crafters.
What does my QR poster do?
Your QR poster lets customers save your business as one of their favourite crafters.
This helps them find you again after the market and keep track of the stalls they loved.
Do I have to offer a reward?
No. Rewards are optional.
You can still take part by uploading your logo, downloading your QR poster, and displaying it on your stall.
What kind of reward can I offer?
Keep it simple. Good examples include:
10% off one item
£2 off when spending over £15
Free small gift with purchase
Free card with orders over £20
Entry into a prize draw
Exclusive Orange Card customer offer
Can I change my reward later?
Yes. You can update your reward from your Orange Card Rewards area in your trader dashboard.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. Customers use the Orange Card through their phone.
They scan a QR code and follow the on-screen steps.
What should I do on market day?
Display your Orange Card QR poster clearly on your stand.
You can also mention it to customers when they are browsing or buying from you.
What should I say to customers?
Say:
“You can scan my Orange Card QR poster to save my business as one of your favourite crafters and find me again after the market.”
If you have a reward, add:
“I’ve also added a reward for Orange Card customers.”
Will I see customer details?
Only where the system allows it and where the customer has given the right permission.
Do not write down customer emails or personal details yourself.
What happens if a customer has trouble scanning?
Ask them to try opening their camera app and scanning the QR code again.
If they still have trouble, send them to The HandCrafted Market team at the market.
Where do I set everything up?
Log in to your trader dashboard and go to the Orange Card section. Your help page shows the steps for uploading your logo, downloading your poster, and adding an optional reward.
